Umm…pass? Just kidding, I plan on doing better than passing!
Since this is my first year of university where I’m taking courses that are more directed to my degree, I want to definitely make sure what I’ve chosen to study is where I want to be. So, in other words, find out if my (joint) major should really be my major.
I want to learn Spanish to a higher level, especially verb-wise. I also want to get more comfortable at speaking it in front of others, as my writing is pretty good but I get pretty flustered in front of others.
I want to learn more about ethics, and examine my own morality with the philosophy course I’m taking.
I want to also push myself to do more research for projects, like buried under a pile of books type of research. I have this really cool history paper too, about old newspapers, which I’m sure will be fun.
I also, of course, want to push myself to learn as much as I can this semester, but I also realize that my mental health is important too. So, I’m hoping to get out and do things, exercise, and have me time to sustain good mental health.
As well, I’d actually like to stay on top of readings this semester, ALL semester.
