Between writing exams and patiently waiting for convocation, my family and I explored the East Coast of Canada. I wanted to share some of the pictures from the trip, as it was the perfect send off after living for four years in Nova Scotia
Stop 1: Pictou, Nova Scotia. My family rented an AirBnB for the week between them arriving and my convocation in Pictou. The cabin was right next to a beach, which we definitely took advantage of during the beautiful sunsets every night.
Stop 2: PEI and the Confederation Bridge. One of the days, we decided to take the ferry over to PEI. We stopped in Charlottetown for lunch before finding one of the famous red beaches on the island. The last part of the day was spent driving back to Nova Scotia, with a few short pit stops, including going over the Confederation Bridge.
Stop 3: The Joggins Fossil Cliffs. One of the days of our adventures involved doing as many rock related things as possible, which meant visiting Joggins. You can see tons of fossils in the cliffs and in the nearby rocks, along with the remnants of mining. I highly recommend visiting at low tide so you can explore as much as possible!
Hope you enjoyed the photos from my trip, let me know in the comments where you’d like to visit on the East Coast!
